Gr. 8 Field Trip - Royal Sask. Museum Tour & Career Expo @ REAL District

On the morning of Friday, May 30th, our Grade 8 students will be heading out on a field trip! We’ll be traveling by PVSD school bus to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. There, students will take part in a guided tour where they’ll explore how First Nations hunting technologies have changed over time due to environmental shifts. They’ll get to examine real stone tools and weapons and learn how they were made. Weather permitting, students will also have the exciting opportunity to try throwing spears or using atlatls outdoors. Please make sure they are dressed for the weather!

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the REAL District, where students will dive into the world of skilled trades and technologies through hands-on learning experiences.

It promises to be an engaging and educational day!
