Kare 4 Kids' goal is to provide an exceptional childcare experience for both parents and children; to maintain the high quality programming and staff for which we are known; to provide quality, activity-based care in a familiar and safe setting; and to give parents a high level of comfort and security regarding the care of their children. We strive to create a program that children want to attend!
Our programs offer structured care with an emphasis on fun, and on physical, creative, educational and social activities; monthly themed programming and crafts; games, toys, and more. Also offered are opportunities for leadership and personal development for older children. Children who come don't just attend, they BELONG!
When your children attend, they will have time to be physically active every day; time to stretch their minds and imagination; time to learn life skills, develop new friendships, and gain a sense of responsibility.
Examples of themes that your children may experience:
Ancient Egypt
- make cartouches with their own names in hieroglyphs
- fashion scarabs with large glass beads and wire
- create 3-D pictures which include pyramids
- make a headdress with Cleopatra hair or a chest plate
- put up a world map and flag the countries that participated; look at Canada's medals
- make medals of their own 'bests'
- investigate the five rings and make replicas; look at the motto and theme of the Olympics
- examine the medals for size, weight and content; measure out the weight of a medal
- learn Olympic trivia; participate in brain and gym Olympics
Other themes we have done in the past: All About Me; Under the Sea; The World's Ten Ugliest Animals; Fairytales and Fantasies; Monster and Myths; Up, Up and Away; Spring into Sports; Fall into Art; Ice & Snow; and many more.
Schedules are flexible: families create their own schedules to suit their individual needs, and pay only for the sessions they book.
